Huddle House Appoints Marc Butler as Chief Marketing Officer

Huddle House CEO, Ken Keymer, has announced the newest addition to his leadership team, Marc Butler, who will serve as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).
Our marketing efforts have played a key role in our unit-level success throughout 2011 and Marc will play a critical role on building upon those successes, Keymer said. Marc joins our executive team with a wealth of experience, which we will rely upon to further advance our efforts and strategies.
As CMO, Butler will be responsible for the overall strategic planning for Huddle House, as well as brand marketing, product development, promotional analysis, media planning, field marketing, creative, public relations and social media.
As a veteran brand, Huddle House has done a terrific job of building a strong foundation and serving its local communities, Butler said. I look forward to adding insight and strategies to continue to grow the Huddle House brand.
Prior to joining Huddle House, Butler spent seven years in various marketing leadership positions at Churchs Chicken, where, he was most recently Senior Vice President of Marketing. Prior to joining Churchs, he worked on the Churchs business at Carat USA supervising media planning and account management for the chain.
Earlier in his career, Butler held account management positions at some top advertising agencies, including Foot Cone & Belding, Ogilvy & Mather and J. Walter Thompson. His responsibilities included media planning and strategic brand management for accounts like Dominos Pizza, Krystal, Wendys and Taco Bell. Butler is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
