I LIVE IN PHILADELPHIA. I WANT BASICALLY TO START OFF A REAL ESTATE BUSINESS, BUT I HAVE MINIMUM MONEY. I EITHER WANT A DAMAGE HOUSE OR VERY CHEAP HOUSE TO FIX… ANY SUGGESTIONS??? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!!

The land a damaged house sits on in Philadelphia would be worth too much to give it away. I have heard of historic homes and buildings that have fallen to city owwnership and they have signed the deed over to individuals with the stipulation that they restore the property to keep it's historic value. I think those are VERY few and far between though.

Check the courthouse for tax sales.
In Florida when the real estate taxes are not paid they auction the house off. Some are foreclosures and others are Handyman specials.
Have you ever done anything like this before?
We totally rehabbed a drug house into a rental.
We bought it out of foreclosure for $19,000. This
was about 16 years ago. Invested $25,000.00 then in about 10 years we sold it for $75,000.
Plus we rented it for all the years in between.
It was a 2 and 1 we converted it into a 3 and 2.
It was a real doll house.
Have fun. It is a real job. I hope you are interested in construction or don't mind hard work.
BANKS!!! Banks are always selling foreclosures at good prices. I've heard of houses at banks going for 600- 1000 dollars.
